These photos show the making of the commission for the Center for Structural Biology/ UIC/Chicago. The NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) instruments are used to investigate the structure and dynamics of biologically important proteins.
This painting is my abstract interpretation of the momentary capturing of these images. The first challenge was how to create a painting that is over 25ft x 15ft in the space of my studio. The solution: working in 15 panels, each 5 ft sq. To read more about it....
